I wish I took before pictures for this ! She came in with about 12 inches of new growth at 80% gray and needed base color to match her ends and a full head of highlights. Afterwards we cut 3 inches off, added layers and used SAS to complete her blow out. Are you on blood pressure medication? My client came in saying that her hair was thinning in the center and she didn’t understand why. I explain to her that the medication she was on was a vascular constrictor and caused the blood flow to not be as prevalent in the top of her scalp where all of her nerve endings are. Blood pressure medication causes all types of breakdown in bodily function and is most obvious in your hair. It always leaves it’s telltale signs (thinning) in the center and towards the very front. Unfortunately once the hair is gone there is nothing that you can do to bring it back, not even Cortizone shots. I recommend getting a haircut that pushes all of the weight and the volume up towards the crown and to stay away from heavy pore clogging products. Focus more on massaging the scalp to continue to bring blood flow to the area and use oil’s most like your body‘s natural sebum. No twisting no blowouts no coils no adding any hair. Just simple ingredients and a little manipulation to create texture.
